The school library supervises 30-50 students each year as they add to their volunteer experiences. 

Typically, students volunteer for 30 minutes each week. Sometimes there are opportunities for extra hours when larger projects present themselves. 

You may not earn all 40 hours of required community service, but the library is a good place to get started, it looks great on a resume, and hard-working volunteers may ask for reference referrals in the future. 

Particularly creative and artistic volunteers will be encouraged to develop library displays. These students are responsible for creating, maintaining, and replacing specific library displays throughout the library learning commons.
