Cross Country Running Team (Gr. 1-8 students)
Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:10am - 8:40am. In the event of severe weather, practice will be cancelled. Parents must sign up on EMA before the first practice. There is a $10 fee per student to cover the transportation cost to and from Centennial Park. Attendance will be taken at every practice.

Cross Country Meet - October 1st: Congratulations to the Runnymede Cross Country. It was a great day of racing with amazing finishes and personal triumph for the Grade 1 to grade 8 athletes.
Grade 3 boys finished in 1st place as a team.
Grade 3 girls came close in 5th in the west.
Grade 4 girls also came in 5th. The Grade 4 boys were 3rd.
Grade 5 girls finished 5th and the Grade 5 boys were 3rd.
Grade 6 girls came in 3rd and so did our Grade 6 boys.
Grade 7 boys and girls took first place for the team category.
Grade 8 boys and Girls who also took 1st place in the team category as well.
Way to go Runnymede! We’re taking a break from running tomorrow (Oct.3), so no practice. Practice will resume for grades 3 to 8 on Monday, Oct.6. See you at 8:10 on the field.
West Conference Finals: Thursday, October 23. West conference for grade 3 to 8 qualifiers at Centennial Park.

City Finals: Wednesday, October 29 cross country city finals for the 4 to 8 qualifiers.
