Jr Boys Basketball Team (Gr.5-6) - Ms. Pepper, Ms. Banting
The Jr. Boys Basketball team has been posted with taxi squad members. The taxi squad members should join us for practices. The members of the taxi squad may be called upon in the case of an absence, illness or injury to join us at the tournament, only if necessary.
Practices will be on:
Tues. Jan. 27, Thurs. Jan. 29, Tues. Feb. 3, Wed. Feb. 4 and Thurs. Feb. 5.
Tournament Schedule: Friday February 6th at Portage Trail Community School
10:30 - 11: 30 Runnymede Junior Senior Public School vs. Beverley Heights Middle School
12:30 - 1: 30 Runnymede Junior Senior Public School vs. C R Marchant Middle School
2:30 - 3:30 Portage Trail Community School vs. Runnymede Junior Senior Public School
Portage Trail is about 15 minutes north of Runnymede (Jane St. and Weston Rd.) you are more than welcome to come and catch a game if you can. I know it is pizza lunch and Ms. Banting is currently arranging to have the pizza people organize the team's pizza altogether. We will need a volunteer to pick it up at Runnymede and bring it over to the boys at Portage, thank you!
Sr Boys Basketball Team (Gr.7-8) - Mr. Evangelou
There will be a practice after school on Monday February 2 in the Sr Gym
On Tuesday we have an exhibition games at Annette PS. This is the postponed game from last week. All players are invited to attend including Taxi squad.
Our Basketball tournament is this Thursday February 5 at Pierre Laporte Public School. I will need at least 2 drivers for the game. I will ask students this week for volunteer parent drivers. Below is the schedule;
