Please consider the following science course pathways: (right click and open image in a new tab or save)
Suggested 5 year Pathway to University
This 5 year pathway is encouraged to many students to allow for a more varied curriculum (which may include all 4 sciences, more music and arts, more languages or more social sciences).
Grade 9 Science - SNC1W
Grade 10 Science - SNC2D
Grade 11 & 12 Science - SVN3M, SES4U
Grade 11 & 12 Biology - SBI3C, SBI3U, SBI4U
Grade 11 & 12 Chemistry - SCH3U, SCH4U
Grade 11 & 12 Physics - SPH3U, SPH4U
Recommendations:
A 70+% in the chemistry unit of Gr 10 Science is recommended for success in Grade 11 Chemistry.
A 70+% in Grade 10 math is recommended for success in Grade 11 Physics.
Grade 11 Chemistry is strongly recommended prior to Grade 12 Biology.
Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors is strongly recommended as a co-requisite for Grade 12 Physics.
Please see your science teacher to review your course selections in science.

We recommend the Sharp EL-510 Calculator for all science courses. Why?
Other than the standard pencils, erasers, pens:
Ruler (30 cm)
Protractor (grade 10 science, gr 11 physics)
3-Ring binder and paper,
Graph paper will usually be provided, but can be useful
Recommended:
Computer (laptop, desktop, Chromebook)
Printer
Internet access.
Most NTCI Science teachers are using Brightspace (https://tdsb.elearningontario.ca/).
Smartphone for access to the Brightspace Pulse app and Brightspace Portfolio app
The Google Suite is provided by the TDSB is provided until the student graduates
Be sure to download all the files in your "G:" drive at the end of grade 12 (or you will lose them)
