Entrance to the IB at Monarch Park (and every TDSB school) is through the CSIP application. Pay close attention to the dates below. Late applications will not be accepted.

Monarch Park will be hosting an open house for prospective students for both our mainstream as well as IB on the evening of November 25, 2025. Our IB students are members of our Monarch Park school family and it is important that prospective families learn about the program but also about the school to make sure it is a good fit for your student.
Monarch Park accepts students in grades 9 and 10 to join our IB program. Grade 10 entry is dependent on number of spaces available and cannot be predicted in advance.
All applications must go through the central TDSB lottery system. There is no way to circumvent the system.

The link to the online application for September 2026 will be posted here and will open on November 10, 2025.
The application will remain open until Friday, November 28, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
All on-time applications will be processed and weighted equally.
Late applications will not be accepted.
First Offers of Placement: January 7, 2026
Offers expire January 13, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
If you do not accept your placement by the deadline, the placement will be automatically declined.
Second Offers of Placement: January 14, 2026
Offers expire January 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
If you do not accept your placement by the deadline, the placement will be automatically declined.
Secondary offers will continue to be made each Wednesday in 2026 until February 25, 2026.
No offers will be made after this dates and all Central Waitlists will expire on this date.
Other IB schools within the TDSB do accept students in grades 10 and 11 as well. Please visit the TDSB IB webpage for more information.
