French Immersion is designed for students that do not speak French at home
There is no expectation that parents speak French for children to thrive in French Immersion
Any actions or strategies parents might use to support their child’s learning in the regular program would apply equally to the FI program

All snacks must be nut free at school due to children with life-threatening allergies. If your child has allergies please provide an epipen that can be carried on their person such as a pouch that can travel with them.
The children have full days of learning so please pack sufficient snacks to get the maximum benefit from the kindergarten program. For example, we recommend morning snacks such as fruit, vegetables, yogurt or cheese. Lunches could include a sandwich, soup, salad, or leftovers with a side of fruit or vegetable. Our last snack of the day could include a treat such as a granola bar, muffin, popcorn etc. Provide your child with utensils like fork and spoon if needed.Juice boxes and yogurt cups can be messy in lunch bags, please consider packing reusable containers to reduce waste and keep a tidier lunch bag. This also allows families to see what was eaten during the day.
