Before and After Care

Starting in September 2023, the Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough will be running a Before and After School Child Care program here at BCH. For more information, please contact Nancy Koo. 

Our program is committed to supporting children’s learning, development, health and well-being. Our mission is to encourage children to explore new ideas, gain new experiences and cultivate their creativity in an inclusive, safe, and caring environment. Following the guidelines from the Ministry of Education, the learning experiences are designed based on children’s interests, skill and developmental levels, delivered in a play-based approach and facilitated by Registered Early Childhood Educators.

 Our program:  

• offers daily learning experiences including physical fitness, science exploration, arts & crafts, and homework support 

•  provides nutritious snacks and meals following the Canada Food Guide 

• offers school break and P.A. day programs  is licensed by the Ministry of Education

Fee subsidies may be available for the before and after school program through the City of Toronto Children’s Services. For subsidy information, please visit www.toronto.ca/children or call 416-338-8888 or 311. Families who already have a fee subsidy in a child care program can transfer their fee subsidy to the new program. Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Fund may be available for 5 years and under upon approval.
