Plants Photo Project!

Plants are amazing organisms and we can’t live without them. In this project you will tell the story of how plants grow and how humans benefit and help or hurt plants around Islington JMS through photography.

Step 1: Make a slide in google slides with a plan describing FIVE pictures or shots. Your pictures must connected to tell a story or a be part of a theme. Try to make them as different as possible and remember the themes are How plants grow, their parts, and how humans and animals help or hurt them!!!

Step 2: When your plan has been approved go out and find your shots - Remember to try different angles and to check your shots to make sure they look the way you expected.

Step 3: Give your camera to Mr. Karout and find your pictures in your google drive account

Step 4: create a google slideshow and share it with me at gregory.karout@tdsb.on.ca and/or your partner using the share button in the top right corner of your screen

Final Presentation

1. Prepare a google slides presentation with:

• A title slide with your name, the date, a title and a photo or graphic

• One slide per photo with a title

• A paragraph explaining each shot and how it shows how plants grow or how humans help or hurt plants. Make sure to use the vocabulary from class.

2. Write a paragraph or two at the end answering the following:

• How are the photos you took different from the plan you made? Why did they change?

• What might you improve or do differently if you had a chance to shoot your photos again?
