TRACK DAY REMINDERS FOR APRIL 29th

EMA: Please login to Excursion Management Application (EMA) to approve permissions for athletics tryouts and participation ASAP.  URL https://parent.ema.tdsb.on.ca/ 

Upcoming Practice: Final track practice on Friday, April 25th at 8:15 a.m.  NO practice on Monday, April 28th.  

Hillcrest Jersey or T-shirt: Students may wear their own Hillcrest t-shirt or borrow a Hillcrest jersey.  Students can meet Mrs. Lee at lunch recess on April 28th to borrow a jersey.

Things to bring: Hillcrest jersey or T-shirt, running shoes, layered clothing for the weather, lunch, snacks, drinks, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrella, medication (asthma - inhaler, Epi-pen, etc.)

Transportation and Meeting Times: The Parent Council has generously provided funding for a school bus.  Most students will be taking the bus there and back.  However, some students will need to arrive early and may stay late and therefore, travel by TTC or with volunteer parent drivers.  Please check the transportation list and update if you are planning to drive or carpool.  If parents are taking their child home from Birchmount, please let one of the Hillcrest coaches know before you leave.

9:00 AM Race for 1500M - parent drivers (3 athletes)

8:10 AM TTC - 80M runners.  Meet in the lunch room and travel by TTC with Hillcrest Coach

9:30 AM bus - Students will go to their first period class for attendance.  Meet in the lunchroom at 9:15 AM

1:30 PM bus - Students who are finished their events will return to school 

TTC PM - 200M and possibly some 400M runners and Standing Long Jump students will return to school by TTC with Hillcrest Coach

Carpool or Parent Volunteers: Please complete the attached Volunteer Parent Driver Form and return to the school office.

Spectators and Parking: Spectators are welcome to attend and cheer on the athletes from the stands.  NO parents or adults are allowed to enter the track or field premises.  The parking lot can get very busy, so please plan accordingly if you are driving.
