All grade 9 students take geography –– offered in both French (5) and English (1). In grade 9 geography, students explore environmental, economic, and social geographic issues relating to topics such as transportation options, energy choices, and urban development. The different units in the course include: Geographic Skills & the Inquiry Process, Interactions in the Physical Environment, Managing Canada's Resources & Industries, Changing Populations, and Liveable Communities (Ontario Curriculum). Note that different to last year, there will be an exam this year, scheduled during the exam period.
