Let's get outside! The City of Toronto Health Department has told us it is safe to go outside for fresh air and exercise, as long as we continue to practise physical distancing with people who we do not live with. Remember, when we all follow the rules, we all stay safe and healthy!
Let's get outside and play safely.... follow these rules to stop the spread of germs and have fun!
We can go to a park or a beach or a soccer field or the schoolyard. We can ride a bike, run, kick, throw and bounce balls, we can skip, lay on a blanket and read. We cannot use the playgrounds yet. We can play with everyone who lives in our home, but if we see other people who do NOT live in our home, we must stay 2 meters (6 feet) apart. We need to wear a mask if we are going to be close to people who do not live in our home. We need to cough in our sleeves and wash our hands often with Superhero Soap or use sanitizer.
Playing outside makes us feel stronger, smarter, happier and kinder! We will even sleep better!
