Tip #1: Keep track!

When doing research, it is important to make sure you are keeping track of where you got your information from. This will make your life easier when you need to cite your sources. Make sure you write down the:

          • Source Title
          • Source Author
          • Date your source was published
    • the Page # (for books/e-books)
    • the URL for websites

Tip #2 - POINT FORM!

Make sure you do not copy your source word-for-word. Instead, use POINT FORM! This will help you understand and organize your research better. If you do record text word-for-word from a source, make sure you clearly mark this down with quotation marks (").
