Fnd out how to access free dental care for children 17 years old and under. They may be eligible through the government’s Healthy Smiles program. The program is designed for lower-income families in need of support. For more information click here.
The program includes regular visits to a licensed dental provider and covers the costs of treatment including:
- check-ups
- cleaning
- fillings (for a cavity)
- x-rays
- scaling
- tooth extraction
- urgent or emergency dental care (including treatment of a child’s toothache or tooth pain)
In collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Government, FAMHAS is working with multiple black mental health service providers to offer 2 hours of free counselling services to members of the ACB (African, Caribbean, Black) Community. These Services are available for those who are having a hard time and are struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health crisis.
All services are offered by licensed mental health professionals from the ACB community. We hope that we can provide support to our community in these exceptionally tough times.
All flu vaccination clinics are by appointment only.
