Danforth teams compete in the south region of the TDSSAA, an OFSAA member association. There are three seasons of competition in the TDSSAA; Fall, Winter and Spring, with a handful of seasons taking place slightly outside that general framework. Many of the sports offered below operate multiple teams at various age groups including but not limited to Novice, Junior, Senior and Varsity. See below for detailed information about our tryout structure as well as timing for each sport season.
At Danforth, we host an all sports information session at the beginning of each season. These sessions take place at lunch in the gymnasium, and include coaches from all of the teams competing in the upcoming season. Students can attend the meetings, collect google classroom codes and get more information for as many teams as they like. The meeting dates for the 2026/27 school year are as follows:
Fall Season: Thursday September 10th
Winter Season: Thursday November 5th (Ice hockey will meet earlier)
Spring Season: Thursday March 11th
See below for a listing of all of our teams and information about which seasons each sport takes place in.
