There will be a number of extra-curricular groups your child can be apart of. Here are some great reasons to join!
~All students are welcome to join–no audition needed
~Students will be participating in school performance (i.e. festivals, concerts, feeder school visits)
~They will make unforgettable memories!
~They will be able to add these accomplishments to your portfolio (high school).
~ They will Improve overall performance skills, expand music repertoire, team build with peers.
~They have fun making music and working as a team!
Should your child take part in the ensembles they will need to ensure they come on time and stay for the full rehearsal. Arrangements must be made for their arrival (should they need to come before school and meet at the designated meeting area). They may not be allowed to attend the rehearsal if they are late. If their rehearsal is at the end of the day, students must make arrangements ahead of time for a safe return home.
BAND REHEARSAL: Tuesday after school (3:10 to 4:00 pm) starting September 10th - All students are welcome to join (Prerequisite - 6 notes on Band instrument or Teacher Approval)
STRING REHEARSAL: Tuesday morning (8:00 to 8:40 am) starting September 10th - All students are welcome to join. Should you have questions, please see the Strings teacher.
CHOIR REHEARSAL: Thursday after school (3:10 to 4:00 p.m.) starting September 12th- All students are welcome to join; no experience necessary
*Students should listen to morning daily announcements for any reminders or changes to rehearsals that week
The Winter Concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th 2019. Our school community is invited to celebrate our student performances. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. in our school cafeteria. We look forward to a wonderful night of music!

If your child is participating, we ask that they wear concert attire which consists of white tops and dark bottoms.
