8:50- Entry (see diagram below for your child's entry door)
What if I am late?
When arriving late you must sign your child(ren) in at the office with the Office Administrator. Office Administrator- Michelle Sheehan
Food Allergies: If your child has a food allergy, please inform their educators as soon as possible. Due to allergies and other dietary restrictions we discourage food sharing amongst students. All food items brought to school must be peanut and tree nut free.
To support Self-Regulation and encourage self-awareness, your children will help themselves to snack throughout the morning and afternoon. We promote self awareness by encouraging the children to learn to read their body signs (e.g., hungry tummy, thirst) so that they can meet their physical needs.
At lunch time, students might eat in the lunchroom (or their class) If you plan on picking your child up at lunch please let your child’s teacher/ECE know at drop off and they will tell you where to pick your child up. Please be sure to sign your child out and back in at the AMG office.
Packing lunches- In the past, parents had shared great ideas to support the children with snack and lunch routines. Below are some of the shared tips:
Colour code containers- snack in one colour (one for the am and one for the pm) and lunch
container a different colour
Label containers- children will learn to recognize the words SNACK and LUNCH
Pack the lunch with your child so that they become familiar with their lunch bag/pail.
Same doors as entry.
If you are late to pick your child up, they will be brought to the AMG office to be supervised by an office administrator until you arrive.
