Introduction
For this project, students were tasked with creating a realistic industrial robot. This assignment is meant to strengthen and enhance student skills in 3D design and modeling. Tasks include designing a robot arm with at least two joints along with a gripper or tool, and deciding on an environment. Consideration should be given to customer needs and the creation of a 3D modeled environment that fits that need. SketchUp 3D will be used to create the models for this project.

The robotic arm is able to move objects into the trunk such as rocks, sand, and dirt. The arm goes down to pick up the objects and then grabs them. The arm then rotates towards the trunk and finally drops the object.
