Adobe Video Design

Course Description:

This course focuses heavily on teaching students how to use the software Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos. Students will also learn about principles and elements of video design, shots types, camera movement, storyboards, scripting, basic title animation, basic effects, color correction, learning journals, copyright law, and planning and executing video projects. 

Projects tend to be bigger require ample planning and preparation, with a good number of requirements and plenty of creative freedom. Self-management and self-motivation are necessary skills for this class.

The ideal outcome will be that students become comfortable in the software and planning and executing all parts of the filming process and pass industry certifications in Premiere Pro. This will show that they possess the skills and knowledge to take on and excel at real world video projects.
