- Why School Libraries Matter
Why It Matters
The BES Library Program
- Our students enjoy weekly visits to the media center with lessons designed to instill a love of reading, to enhance Common Core classroom lessons, and to inspire life-long learning. Visits include checking out materials, practicing information literacy, and exercising digital citizenship.
Battle of the Books
Look for information about first meeting dates coming home in October.
Students should start reading the books now.
To compete in the final competitions, students should read all of the books and take a comprehension quiz for each book with a 70% passing rate. See Mrs. Cali when you are ready to take a test.
