The CSEdWeek theme this year highlights the progress that has occurred in computer science education over the last decade. There have been many great advancements in making CS education more equitable and accessible for all learners.

For the 2022 Hour of Code, students of all ages are encouraged to explore, play, and create with coding. With computer science, you can do all sorts of awesome, inspiring, thrilling, and downright fun things. This year you will have an opportunity to:

• explore outer space (and travel way back in time)

• help athletes and teams improve their performance, making soccer even more exciting in the process

• create art — from the weird and wonderful, to our most beloved music and movement
