Emily Essick
I became a member of HOSA my freshman year of high school in 2010. During my time in high school I served as our chapter's President, the Piedmont-Triad Region Reporter, and was later elected as a North Carolina State HOSA Officer representing the Piedmont-Triad Region at the end of my junior year. After high school, I served as the President of the UNC Charlotte HOSA Chapter and worked as a co-advisor at Ledford High School. I reestablished the HOSA Chapter here at Thomasville High School in 2021. This is my 5th year teaching Health Science at THS. Outside of teaching, I am also the Head Volleyball Coach and National Technical Honors Society Advisor.

Snoop Dog
Meet the THS HOSA Mascot, Snoop Dog, the Veterinary Science CPR dog. He was adopted in November of 2022 and inducted as a lifetime member of HOSA at the November 3rd, 2022 meeting where his fellow HOSA members chose his given name.
