About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Kaitlyn Sauer and I am very excited to be a member of the TCPS family! I have loved science and teaching for as long as I can remember. I especially love marine biology and ecology. I have my BS in Biology with a minor in Oboe Performance, and my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Inspired Teaching Practices. Originally, I started teaching in Tampa, FL, and have taught science (biology, marine science, Earth science, etc.) to all grades K-12 in addition to biology classes and labs for undergraduate students at the University of South Florida. I love getting to know each of my students and helping all of my students learn about the world around them. I am eagerly looking forward to exploring and learning with my students!

I have one daughter, Ayla, who loves to play and be active. Together, we love to go swimming, jumping at Skyzone, and reading stories!
