Reading Oasis 2021
Students choose books that have been weeded from the library to make room for other books. They got to float on an innertube while reading and listening to relaxing music. They took some of the books home to add to their book libraries. Social distancing and disinfectant sprays are used in between classes.

Joy Scott and Pat Keith came to the library to read Joy's daughter's book.
Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders loved learning about the different types of bridges and hunting for the dragon fly hidden through out the book. After the story they then had a chance to build their own bridge with Legos, straws, toothpicks and marshmallows, and dixie cups and paper plates.
Thank you Joy and Pat for a wonderful visit!
We read "Rapunzel" from the authors point of view .
Then we read "Really, Rapunzel needed a Haircut!", told by the point of view from the Dame Gothel!
The students built the tower that Rapunzel stayed in with legos.
Students are working together to solve puzzles that will unlock the breakout box for their next clue! They have 30 minutes to unlock 5 locks and figure out the riddle.
We had so much fun surprising our lunch staff.
The students made all kinds of things for them.
The week of September 15 we celebrated
The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds
Students made all kinds of projects with dots!
