The Library of Congress is not only America's largest library, but impressively, the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photographs, newspapers, maps and manuscripts in its collections. The Library of Congress launched its National Digital Library Program in 1994, granting unlimited public access to many important historical sources. The purpose of The College of New Jersey's Urban Education Roundtable Program is to provide primary source materials to both teachers and students to enrich their academic experience and gain further knowledge about a collection of historical events, people, places, and general eras and themes. This website has currently prioritized themes of Multiple Perspectives in America, Childhood, Social Justice, and sources local to our home base in Ewing, New Jersey, however the website is constantly growing!
