I am leading a group autoethnography including four college freshman and four early career tenure track faculty. The research juxtaposes the positions of these scholars through qualitative analysis.

Emerging Ethnography about Parents who choose American Sign Language for their Deaf Children
I am presently designing an ethnography along with two undergraduate research assistants. Using field observation, interviews, focus groups, and shadowing, we wish to better understand the decisions parents make for their children's communication needs and parents' own ASL acquisition.
