What is Web-Enhanced?

Web-enhanced is not equal to 100% online. You can conduct web-enhanced teaching in a 100% physical classroom. And you can certainly used web-enhanced teaching in the online classroom. Web-enhanced simply means using web-based and app-based resources to supplement your teaching, not replace your teaching.

Questions you might ask yourself as an instructor when you're delivering a lecture:

• Is there a short 1-2 minute YouTube video that illustrates the point I'm trying to make?

• Can I use a twitter #hashtag to field questions during a lecture and then address them at the end of the lecture?

• Can I have a few students collaboratively take notes using Google Docs that they then share with others in an online space?
