When you post your materials on MOODLE an assigned translator will translate all these course materials for you.
If students post in their heart language you can copy that content into Google (doc, slides, etc.) and then under Tools you will see Translate document . Click that on and Google will translate the document for you. Recognize that grammar from the heart languages may not be accurate in English.

COVID-19 taught us much about video time with students. Typically for the 25 hours normally used in F2F we recommend 4-5 days of 75 minutes of synchronous video time. We know from research this is 75 minutes stretches the limit of attantion. Some faculty are using 75 minute sessions the first week of class, and another some time in the second month as a means of connecting, encouraging, answering questions about anything in the course, or discussing pre-recorded videos. It is also possible to connect weekly with video, though schedules may make this difficult. When doing any videoing we recommend you record and post this on MOODLE for those who are unable to be present at the synchronous time.
On this Hub you will see a heading Technology. Follow that heading and you will find details on how to create a video for any purpose, including lectures.

When you go to your MOODLE course you will see Participants on the left side of your course front page. Click that title and you will see the list of those enrolled in your course.
When you notice students are not engaged you might want to send them an email using your tcmi.edu account or send a Message in MOODLE. Encourage them to engage. Also ask if there is an issue which is causing them not to be engaged (illness, family issue, church crisis, etc.) and offer assistance where possible.
You might also want to consider placing a Checklist in MOODLE which can help students keep track of what is expected during the course.

We recommend using Austrian time as the standard for multiple time zones. Students can then adjust according to differences with Austrian time.
Within MOODLE under the Activities drop-down you will find Workshop. This is one option for collaborative work. Another option is to use Google Docs. Have one student begin a Google Doc and then share it with others in their group. This allows students to work on the document at their convenience. Google Slides and Google Sheets can be used in a similar fashion.
Using the MOODLE app - this site will help you learn to use this applicatoion. This will also help you see what your course looks like on a mobile device, and may help you make necessary adjustments.
