Human-centered design is the intentional process of designing for humans instead of designing for problems and intentionally including those you are designing for in the process. In the instructional world, this means designing courses that focus on the humanity of others while giving them tools to continue growing in the image of God that they have been created in. It's more than imparting knowledge and technological skill. It's using knowledge and technology to bring out the best in others.
Questions you might ask of yourself when finding human-centered activities for students to engage in:
Are there web-based activities I can assign students that bring out their creativity like creating a video, infographic, or blog?
Ask questions that bring in the students culture into assignments such as how would this work in your home?
Have students create charts using web-based software that analyze their native culture
