Overview:
The Advanced Film course is designed to deepen students’ understanding of cinematic storytelling, technical filmmaking, and collaborative production. Building on the foundational skills learned in the introductory course, students will explore more advanced concepts in screenwriting, film theory, and visual composition. Emphasis will be placed on story structure, character development, camera movement, editing for tone and pace, and directing performance. Through hands-on projects and critical analysis, students will develop their unique voices as filmmakers while gaining experience in various crew roles and creative decisions.
