Combine the two sentences into one sentence. Use a linking word such as when, while, because, so, and, etc. to link the sentences.Do not change the order of the clauses. Change the verb forms used if necessary (e.g. “He went…” to “He was going…” or “He had gone”).
Example
They couldn’t open the ambulance doors. Mr. Bean parked behind it.
