American Images AB is a fun year-long course in which students learn about different art, cultures, historical and contemporary artists, art making techniques all from South America & North America. Students will create 2D - 3D artwork while acquiring and applying knowledge of the Elements of Art & Principles of Design to each project. A variety of different art making materials and techniques is incorporated into this class, such as: drawing, painting, bead-making, wire sculpture, mask making and more. This class fulfills the A-G Visual Art requirement and satisfies the Fine Art requirement for the UC/CSU curriculum.
