The Process
As we embark on this journey we are working to have a portrait of a graduate for our community and school system, we have identified two components that are needed to create the portrait.
First, and most importantly, we need community input.
Secondly, we are going to form a steering committee to analyze the data, determine if more data is needed and form the final product to be shared with all.
In addition to surveys we may gather focus groups to continue to have an understanding of what competencies our community values the most.

2. Focus Groups
If you are interested in participating in a Focus Group (topics to be determined after the survey results are completed) please email Ms. Cheri Cavanaugh at cavanaughc1@hasdpa.net
As we know more information such as time and topics we will share that and ask for interest again.

April 2023 - Release Initial Public Survey
May 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review Data & Form Focus Group Topics
May - June 2023 - Hold Initial Focus Group Meetings with District Stakeholder Groups
June - August 2023 - Hold Community Focus Groups
August - September 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review Focus Group Data, Discuss Template Completion & Form Subcommittees for Grade Band Completion
October- November 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review/Complete Template Draft, Review Grade Level Completion & Form Standing Action Teams
January 2024 - Present Portrait of a Graduate to Board of Education & Public with Action Teams Outlined for continued work
