The Process

 As we embark on this journey we are working to have a portrait of a graduate for our community and school system, we have identified two components that are needed to create the portrait.

If you are willing to be on the steering committee there is an email below that you can reach out to for more information or sign up to be a part of that committee.

2. Focus Groups

If you are interested in participating in a Focus Group (topics to be determined after the survey results are completed) please email Ms. Cheri Cavanaugh at cavanaughc1@hasdpa.net 

As we know more information such as time and topics we will share that and ask for interest again.

February 2023 - Form Portrait of a Graduate Steering Committee & Have Initial Meeting: Review Survey, Comprehensive Plan Goals & Website  

March 2023 - Update Board of Education on Process, Next Step and Survey Opportunities 

April 2023 - Release Initial Public Survey 

May 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review Data & Form Focus Group Topics 

May - June 2023 - Hold Initial Focus Group Meetings with District Stakeholder Groups

June - August 2023 - Hold Community Focus Groups 

August - September 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review Focus Group Data, Discuss Template Completion & Form Subcommittees for Grade Band Completion

October- November 2023 - Steering Committee Meets: Review/Complete Template Draft, Review Grade Level Completion & Form Standing Action Teams 

January 2024 - Present Portrait of a Graduate to Board of Education & Public with Action Teams Outlined for continued work
