Peggy Reimers is Director of Professional Development with TCEA. She specializes in robotics, iPads, Makerspaces, and technology integration. She is the lead for the Campus Technology Specialist Academy held in November, the TCEA Elementary Technology Conference sessions in June, and the TCEA robotics training and contests throughout the year.

Peggy is a LEGO Education Ambassador.

Peggy concentrates on providing professional development for educators with a hands-on approach, sound pedagogy, and a great sense of fun. Those topics include, iPad Integration, Breakout EDU, Web 2.0 tools, LEGO Robotics (EV3 and WeDo 2.0) and other STEM activities. Peggy is a Google for Education Certified Trainer since 2010. She holds Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2 badges.

Peggy is, first and foremost, a certified robotics enthusiast. As a public school teacher, she was lucky to fall into a computer literacy and robotics teaching position on a 5th/6th grade campus with Bastrop ISD. She has trained teachers on several LEGO robotic platforms since December 2007.

Her super power is figuring out which LEGO mini fig hides in each shiny sealed bag.
