The following information will help answer your pressing questions, give you some piece of mind, and give you concrete strategies to help your teen with the high school transition.

The Transition to High School document, Looking Ahead Together document, and Transition to Secondary brochure were put together by the TCDSB Transition Team and Surrey Place. These three documents are focused on the transition process for students with ASD. The Transition Guide for Parents was put together by the TCDSB and is for all students transitioning to high school.

Parents/guardians are asked to share information about their child with the new high school. When your child is in grade 8, you will receive a copy of this questionnaire from your child's elementary school.
