The Teacher Team
Ms. Figliano
Ms. Figliano is rumoured to have been born with a pair of tap shoes already on her feet. A dancer for over 16 years, she has competed in all styles of dance, from ballet to hip-hop, and she has performed at multiple venues, including at the United Nations in New York City. Her love for theatre was sparked when she participated in her high school’s production of Robin Hood and you can find her reliving the experience daily by singing (too loudly) to any Broadway soundtrack or reciting Shakespeare to her cat, Paisley. This year, she is grateful to have been given the opportunity to work in both the St. Joseph Morrow Park and Brebeuf communities; Ms. Figliano is irrevocably proud of the cast for bringing light to times of uncertainty and for making lemonade from curbside pickup.
Mr. Found
Dan got his first taste for musical theatre at 13 when his choir (NTCC) cast him as Sir Joseph in a production of the HMS Pinafore. By the time he hit his twenties he was spending more time in the orchestra pit as a musician than on the big stage as an actor. He worked for such companies as Etobicoke Musical Productions, Scarborough Music Theatre, Buddies in Bad Times, to name a few. His last time acting in a musical was in the role of "Oscar" two years ago in the TCDSB Staff Arts Musical Curtains. Dan considers himself lucky every day to get to work at a school with a fabulous Arts department and loves that he was able to play a small helping role in this year's play with such great students and staff.
Ms. Lo Bianco
Ms. Lo Bianco earned her H.B.A and M.A. in Theatre and Drama Studies from the University of Toronto. Three highlights from Ms. Lo Bianco’s theatrical past include: playing Tracy in the TCDSB’s Staff Arts production of Hairspray, Annie in Markham Little Theatre’s The Art of Murder, and Margaret in Theatre Erindale’s Waiting for the Parade. While she prefers to be performing on stage acting and singing away, she loves all facets of theatre including the behind-the-scenes roles such as the endless to-do lists which a producer’s role entails. She is extremely proud of the strides that each of the talented students involved in bringing show to life has made, and grateful for each of her amazing colleagues; especially for keeping the tradition of the Theatre Brebeuf community alive in such an isolating, challenging, and unprecedented time for live performance arts.
