WHAT IS SPORT CLIMBING?
Sport Climbing was officially introduced in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and we will see it again in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Sport Climbing consists of 3 disciplines: Speed, Lead and Boulder. It is a growing sport in Canada with many gym's promoting and providing programs to support your young athletes. Canada sent 2 athletes (Sean McColl and Alannah Yip) to the 2020 Tokyo Games.

Climbing as a curricular activity has been approved by OPHEA, the governing body that oversees the Ontario Physical Activity Safety Standards in Education.

Let's go, Knights!
