We need to self regulate to keep our stress response system in balance so we can be in the best state for learning, growth, and social interaction
We need to self regulate to understand emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in ourselves and others
Tips for self regulation:
Take a movement break
Go outside
Listen to music
Know your sensory needs (touch, smell, site, taste, sounds)
Make a stress reliever - e.g. see next slide
