What is the Yes, Girls Do Initiative?
Yes, Girls Do... is the LCS A-Team's 2025 initiative, which consists of a series of presentations and workshops curated to educate and empower young women in our community.
Inspired by Mary Ward’s quote, “I hope in God it will be seen that women in time will come to do much.”
Attendees will be able to participate in workshops and discussions on topics such as make-up, dance, life in university, boxing, martial arts, the menstrual cycle awareness, and more! There will also be free pizza lunch, a photobooth, music, and prizes to win at our raffle (including a Jellycat, flower Lego sets, and gift cards!)
We will also be supporting young entrepreneurs at our school by featuring LCS students who own small businesses or are part of clubs, giving them the opportunity to sell their items at the start of the event!
Self-care packages, which will be created from our Bring What You Can System, along with the help of a $3000 Helping Hands Grant, will also be donated to local women in shelters.
