This is the home of Notre Dame High School's annual board-wide hip hop dance competition.
We are looking forward to our 18th annual competition coming up on Friday April 30, 2027. This page will be updated throughout the next couple of weeks to contain all videos and updates about Dance Off 2026, including amount of money raised, team dance videos and rankings. Thank you to ALL teams who partcipated this year. It was an amazing competition, filled with quality performances.
This is also a continued fundraiser for our sister schools in Cameroon, Africa and Honduras, Central America, as well as for our school sponsor child, Korotimi. Our hope is that part of the proceeds for this event will be able to help these children realize a quality education. We appreciate your support of this important cause.
See you on Friday April 30, 2027 and stay posted to this page for all important updates!

The first Dance Off! took place in April of 2006. It was a dream realized by Ms. Lily Adams (now Principal of Loretto Abbey) and 2 students - Ms. Julie Fernandes and Ms. Tanya Da Costa.
Dance Off! was always a Notre Dame event, but in 2006 it was originally held at St. Pat's. St. Basil's came in first that year and there were only 6 schools, including Notre Dame competing. We've doubled that number since its inception - and have had to turn teams away, just because of space availability!
In one of the most intense Dance Off! events, a tie resulted in an actual "dance off" between Chaminade's "Vivacious Dance Crew" and Mary Ward's "Adrenalyn". Every show is exciting and full of surprises!
We've always been lucky enough to have very reputable judges - most notable: Tré Armstrong, Fly Lady Di (Diana Reyes), Justin David and so many more!
"As the teacher who founded Dance-Off in 2006, I am beyond thrilled to see this incredible TCDSB-wide hip-hop dance competition continue to thrive. Year after year, I am in awe of the talent, determination, and creativity that shine on this stage. It is truly inspiring to witness our students realizing their God-given potential and sharing their gifts with others. Dance has the power to uplift, bring joy, and unite us all. Thank you to Ms. Soave and her team of students who continue to organize this amazing event and for continuing this tradition!
Enjoy the evening, celebrate the artistry, and let the music move you!" - Ms. Lily Adams
