During the Spring of 2017, Trisha was a Teaching Artist Intern at the Children's Museum of the Arts. Her responsibilities were:

• Collaborating in program projects for open studio sessions for the Fine Arts rooms
• Assisting in leading the introduction, exhibit tour, lesson, and share during school visits for groups ranging in from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade and different disabilities (i.e. non-verbal, emotional disturbance, on the autism spectrum, visual and audio impaired.
• Exploring and facilitating Visual Thinking Skills during school group tours
• Developed workshops focusing on identity, inclusion through collaboration, and STEAM education. ( See below)

The workshop was available for two hours for children ages five and up.

Results

Seven people came to the workshop table, mostly under the age of 10. Also, there were four people who are not english native speakers, and one child's responses were translated through their parents.
