TC Digital Media is a video management system that is integrated into Canvas. You can easily upload video to Canvas using TC Digital Media. All videos uploaded to Canvas through TCDM are auto-captioned.
TC Digital media also offers video quizzing features to add interactivity into your lessons.
ScreenPal is a screen recording tool frequently used by professors designing fully online courses and programs. This is our preferred tool, because it enables you to easily save and share your video files and also embed your videos in other applications as needed.

According to Canvas Guides, you can record media for any length of time, but shorter video recordings are recommended. If your video is longer than 15 minutes, you may want to consider recording and uploading your video using an external provider such as Vimeo or YouTube.
You can record videos on any page. Other places where you can record video in Canvas include Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, Quizzes, or the Syllabus.
