How to Record Video in Canvas
You can use the Rich Content Editor to record a video in Canvas. If you are unfamiliar with the Rich Content Editor, please watch the embedded video. Please also see the Canvas document, "What is the Rich Content Editor?"
According to Canvas Guides, you can record media for any length of time, but shorter video recordings are recommended. If your video is longer than 15 minutes, you may want to consider recording and uploading your video using an external provider such as Vimeo or YouTube.
You can record videos on any page. Other places where you can record video in Canvas include Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, Quizzes, or the Syllabus.
