Subjects Available

I offer math lessons for students in grades 5 - 10.

My lessons focus on the underlying concepts that build algebraic knowledge. This includes pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.

Writing lessons can be booked for students in grades 2 - 12.

Our focus will depend on the student's needs, but I often include essay writing in my lessons for older students.

For students of all ages, we can also work on grammar, sentence structures, vocabulary, and other various principles of written construction in English.

Literature tutoring is available for students in grades 3 - 12.

We base our units around mutually-chosen texts fom a variety of time periods and cultures.

Students will employ close reading, using discussion and written response as a way to interpret texts.

We will explore themes, content, characters, plot, conflict, and other aspects of storytelling.

Students will also learn in-depth about literary devices and author/period history, as well as the variables included with different genres of literature.
