Week 1: What are Tool Box Tuesdays?

Every Tuesday I will share coping skills from our toolbox.These are skills you can practice at home with your family. Remember, we practice these skills so we can use them when we are feeling upset or when things are out of our control.

This week for Toolbox Tuesday we are going to take a look at meditation. Meditation is an excellent coping skill when things become overwhelming or confusing. It involves other skills like mindfulness and taking a break when you need to. I am sharing this video from Cosmic Kids Yoga, they teach yoga for kids on YouTube.
