What is the sorting rule?

I went to the grocery store and I noticed the grocer had boxes of apples. Some boxes only had red apples and other boxes had only green apples. There were 5 apples in each box. I wanted to buy both kinds of apples but I didn’t want to buy two boxes. I asked the grocer why he didn’t have one box that was mixed, with some green and some red. The grocer said he wanted to make some mixed boxes but the many different ways confused him. For example, if he just put one red apple in the box he didn’t know how many green apples he would need to fill the box. Can you help the grocer? How many different ways can you fill the boxes? What if there were 10 apples in each box?
