Hello, my name is Joe Hilford. I am here today to pitch my innovation, Ecothreads. 

Have you ever gone to buy a school uniform and thought that it was overpriced? Well so have others, did you know one in five families are having to sacrifice basic necessities like food, electricity, clothing and personal hygiene products so they can afford school equipment? One of the most expensive parts of school equipment is the uniform because you have to replace it at least once a year if not more often as it wears and the students grow other equipment such as books, pens and pencils can if looked after last longer. 

To solve this problem my innovation is Ecothreads. Ecothreads is an eco-friendly and cheaper alternative to traditional clothing. This is because the clothes are made entirely from recycled fabrics and materials, which not only reduces the price as it removes the need to gather natural resources and create new fabric, but it is also better for the environment because it reduces waste and doesn’t require the harvesting of plants. 

The target market for this innovation is parents that struggle to afford uniform and also schools that are looking for a cheaper alternative for their uniforms. This would benefit a majority of people as they could save money on school uniforms and help some people afford the things they need.
