The Inquiry Business Challenge went well. I think this was because me and my group worked together well, the first day was boring but the secound was fun making are stall, talking to real business people was a good experince.
The Business Challenge was really useful as it taught me how to work better with random people, it also taught us leadership, taking up roles and assignments from are CEO, I was assigned a strategic planner and finance, helping with both and supporting my CEO, Rocco.
One of my goals was to ask critical questions by working on this goal, it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me how to actually understand everything and actually lock into this. I beleive we as a group did well on this.
The goal I did the best with was resilience The reason it went so well was because we all started thinking this was not going to be fun, starting of at a low, but by the second day we all enjoyed it a lot and feel like bouncing of the boriness helped us thrive.
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because I couldn't really work on it, it was respecting the past but creating the future because the challenge was only two days, I didn't feel like I really got their in a way/
Next time, thinking about my goals will this help me because I will be able to work on them everyday and keep on thriving,
Evidence of Term 2 goals being met.
Copy and paste all relevant evidence in the form of screenshots or written explanations of what was done to achieve your 4 goals for Term 2.
e.g. Test results, teacher feedback, parent feedback, peer feedback, your own explantion of things you did etc.
.Record your goals here:
I want to be more resilient. I want to bounce off everything that happens, whether it's bad or good. If something goes downhill, I grow from it. If my expert doesn't reply, I message another one. Expert 5/6
I think I did well on this as we started on a low and went into a high during are presentation phase, getting heaps of good feedback from real business people
I wanna ask critical questions, helping me understand everything well and go deep into my inquiries and my work - Question 6/6
I feel like during this inquiry, did ask heaps of questions
clarifying everything, I understood this challenge, and I asked heaps of questions to the judges to improve are innovations.
I wanna work on my self-management, not yelling across the room to talk to someone and being quieter overall. I will not follow my classmates if there's something wrong, stay out of it, and move if necessary.
I feel like this is hard in this scenario, but I was quieter over this term, not yelling out and putting my hand up. I'm still not 100% there, but it's getting better.
Respecting the past while creating the future, I want to be able to understand my mistakes and reflect on them, using that knowledge to change my future.
I feel like now I understand how we could have done this business challenge better, as I feel that Rocco and I were doing everything, and maybe we could have spoken up more.
But another point was that the quality of the actual event was better, as heaps of students have gone this before, but according to one of the judges, Jane said " the quality of this year's business challenge was way better" This shows we are still improving.
