In the past two terms I have showed respect by respecting not only my peers but my teachers as well, I have given respect by the way I speak to other people, I am Never nasty or mean-spirited towards anyone else. I always give "please" and "thank you" and try to help out whenever I can and when I do something wrong I am very likely to apologize. Others areas of respect I have showed is towards the equipment. an example of this is using the equipment carefully and responsibly, not breaking things.
How has 'Respect' had a positive effect on another area of your life?
Outside of school. I try to be respectful as much as possible to my friends and whanau, occasionally I can slip up but I will apologize if so. I am always respectful when being taught something by my guitar tutor and towards my own gear that is needed to play.
How does 'Respect' effect each dimension of your Hauora
Respect effects my Taha Tinana because whenever I am playing a sport or something I am always respectful to my other teammates and the other teams members, I always am respectful of the equipment we use and am never silly when playing sport.
Respect effects my Taha Hinengaro because when I am doing something I will think before doing so. This helps when I am feeling stressed or not in a great mood. Sometimes I can get angry easily when I'm in that type of mindset but respect towards mainly my family and friends is good as it keeps me in check because I remember they are just trying to help.
Respect effects my Taha Whanau because whenever my mates are feeling a bit sad I always like to check up on them and see if they are alright. The same thing goes for my family. I always ask how they are and what they have got up to and if they are having a bad day that sometimes seems to lift their spirits
Respect effect my goal setting because when I am trying to achieve something like in sport I am always respectful to anyone on the team. Respect on the team usually brings everyone together and if everyone can have that same mindset then it makes it a whole lot easier for everyone on the team and for the coach's
