I feel that I was confident about this because I have done this before making it feel easier and I did learn a few new things which have really helped boost my confidence. For example doing the leader role was a bit nerve racking but I tried to do it (even though it wasn't that great at it. I agree that confidence is the key to doing anything to the best or the 100% of your ability.
It helped me because I felt like I could do it and didn't feel nervous, It was enjoyable being able to do it loudly and not quietly with mumbling. It was good to have a few mates there that were supportive and not judging like I have had in past years.
I wasn't overly nervous about it since I had learned it in primary and had known it well, it was mainly the words and the actions that I needed reminding of and just how to do everything in general.
