Annual KINMUN Conference

17 – 19 March 2026

KINMUN (Kinshasa International Model United Nations) conference 2026 will be a two-day simulation of the United Nations for secondary school students, which will take place in March 17-19 2026 at The American School of Kinshasa (TASOK).

The Conference theme for 2026 is:

Connecting Nations to Ensure Universal Access to Healthcare

General Assembly 1 (English & French)

Issue 1: Addressing workforce shortages in the healthcare industry to ensure sustainable, high-quality care for all.
Issue 2: Strengthening international cooperation to guarantee equitable access to essential healthcare in low-income and conflict-affected countries across Africa.

Human Rights Committee

Issue 1: Reducing unequal access to essential healthcare services between developed countries and developing countries.
Issue 2: Ensuring basic healthcare for refugees, undocumented migrants, and stateless people, while fairly sharing the costs among nations.

Security Council

Issue 1: Addressing healthcare system insecurity in conflict-affected countries, and exploring how UN peacekeepers and international actors can respond effectively.
Issue 2: Combating gender-based violence and providing sexual, reproductive, and mental health services during humanitarian crises in Eastern Congo and surrounding regions.
