You will be able to register for the fair once registration is open. From 9/1/2026 onwards, all career fair registrations will be made through CareeRᵉX, our internal career & job portal.
All companies who wish to participate in the Career Fair will need to be onboard CareeRᵉX and go through verification. For your convinience, you are advised to onboard CareeRᵉX early as verification takes time. Please refer to the steps listed in CareeRᵉX for registration. You may onboard CareeRᵉX anytime you wish.

Career Fairs at TAR UMT is where students learn, explore and excel towards their future career. Every year, the Student Career Development Centre (SCDC) and the Career Guidance Society (CGS) organizes Career Fairs for graduating students and/or internship seekers. Each fair is different to it's objectives. It is also open to all graduates and alumni.

Organized annually by the Student Career Development Centre (SCDC) and the Career Guidance Society (CGS), our Career Fairs bring together top-tier employers and TAR UMT’s graduating students, internship seekers, and alumni in a dynamic, interactive environment.
Each year, the fair is tailored to meet the specific needs of both employers and job seekers, ensuring that companies can find the right talent to suit their unique industry requirements. SCDC TAR UMT strives to bridge the academic-industry gap through our career fairs. We encourage employers to provide a diversity of opportunities for our students and also the chance to network with professionals. Every fair, we can only accommodate a number of employers due to certain limitations. Thus, SCDC will continue to strive for our students' benefit and ensuring quality of the Career/Internship Fairs.

The organizing team consists of 2 main bodies which are
(1) Student Career Development Centre (SCDC), formed by Career Professionals who are also staff of TAR UMT.
(2) Career Guidance Society (CGS), a society under SCDC which forms the committee team of the event.

All registrations must be completed through CareeRᵉX. Once logged in, select the Career Fair you wish to participate in and follow the registration instructions.
If would want to receive the invitation, please be onboard CareeReX.
Who can participate as exhibitors?
Who can participate as exhibitors?
Companies, organisations, and institutions that are looking to recruit, promote their employer brand, or share career opportunities are welcome to participate. All valid companies/organizations can apply. However, due to limited slots, SCDC will adhere to our selection criteria and policies. We encourage employers to provide diverse vacancies and networking opportunities.

Students: Free of charge
Companies: Participation fees (if any) will be stated in the registration details. The usual fee ranges from RM1300 and above, subject to SST.
Which students would be joining the career/internship fair?
Which students would be joining the career/internship fair?
Depending on the semester, our fairs are geared either towards ① Graduating Students or ② Internship Goers. Their background would be diverse, but proportioned according to the faculty size. We will provide an estimated number of students (graduates or interns) in our EDM. Students will come join if they are interested, but we'll do our best in encouraging them to be there. Do also note that although catered for graduates or interns, students from 1st or 2nd year would also join to experience and explore on their career.
① Students who are graduating after the current semester, consisting of all faculties.
② Students who would be going for their internships the next semester, consisting of selected faculties due to different timelines.

Most students complete their studies in the month of June/July, which they will then be available for work. Graduation ceremony takes place at a later date.
